Purpose and Perspective magazine was founded by esteemed fashion director and stylist, Elizabeth Cabral, in New York City.

“Purpose and Perspective highlights the people, places and things that speak to a digitally immersed culture that simultaneously prioritizes artisanal, couture, bespoke, sustainable and experiential, without ever compromising good taste and luxury.

Mindful consumption is the modern way to live a stylish lifestyle and the ultimate luxury.”

Originally, I had been skeptical - and curious - about the fashion industry and its effects on the environment. However I was still optimistic about the steps we could take to heal our Earth, as such I found that Purpose and Perspective was the perfect overlap of all the things I wanted to explore.

The knowledge gained as Elizabeth Cabral's fashion assistant was priceless, and I was very fortunate to learn from such a renowned woman in her field.

Being her assistant allowed me to be present for the steps it takes to create an online and in-print magazine. From the glamorous side of things, such as gathering garments from brands like JW Anderson, Jill Sander, Simon Rocha, and Gucci, to name a few, to setting up and assisting on photoshoots for artist Chloe Wise, Euphoria-star Hunter Schafer, and Maye Musk!

The technical side entailed carefully packaging and mailing out magazines to special contacts, listening and editing interviews of highly respected women in the industry and managing online mailing lists.
